THE KEY TO LIFE IS CHRIST    Unchurced Children

The challenge of the day is to welcome and include families at various developmental levels and address their needs at the same time. I have found this “Pocketbook for Catechists” a priceless and practical treasure for use in the parish RCIA process, with catechists in religious education programs, in the LaSalle university classroom and certification sessions in mentoring new catechists Together, with this resource, we explore ways to form families in the faith.

Therese Boucher's Evangelizing Unchurched Children is a goldmine of great ideas for Directors of Religious Education and Catechists. I would put this book in the hands of every catechist so that she or he could reach out more effectively and more lovingly to the many children who come to us with little or no background in the faith. I am amazed at the thoroughness of this book, the number of great suggestions, and the great computer sites.
